It sounds like it's been a real interesting ride...I remember hearing about this place a while ago but they had a hell of a time opening because under Texas law, a cidery is considered a winery instead of a brewery which has a different set of laws and restrictions. But it's open and has THREE new ciders, including one with catnip and jalepeños (appropriately named Cat Scratch Fever). That doesn't sound good to you, don't worry! They have taps with other ciders while they gets theirs all brewed up.
I can't wait to go to this place, and I'm hoping to make it out there in August. If you go, let me know how it is!
