NTAREI monthly meeting

Last night, my broker Mindy and I went to the monthly NTAREI (North Texas Association of Real Estate Investors) meeting. Our property management company is a sponsor and we spend on Thursday a month at the general meeting, answering questions from investors. There are all kinds there, from people who have been in the industry for years to people who haven't even bought their first rent house yet. Everyone is welcome!

The first part of the meeting is networking, where everyone can go around and visit the sponsors. At the end of the networking section, there's a big raffle with lots of prizes. Last night they gave away a bug multi-function printer. Then there is a speaker who usually talks about specialty areas for investors. 

It's a good time and a great way to go out and meet people who do investments. Even if you're just interested and not sure yet you can at least talk to some knowledgeable individuals. They also offer classes that you can sign up and take if you are so inclined. The next meeting is July 17th....we'd love to see you there!
